Cheri & Bill Steinkellner
Cheri and Bill Steinkellner have won two BAFTAs, eight Emmy awards, and multiple Golden Globes for writing and producing television shows such as Cheers, and Disney’s Teacher's Pet. They met as charter members of renowned L.A. improvisational troupe, The Groundlings, where Bill co-directed the original Pee Wee Herman Show. Other TV: The Jeffersons, Facts of Life, Family Ties, Who’s The Boss, Bob, Hope and Gloria. Other stage: award-winners Our Place, Jailbirds on Broadway, and long-running InstaPlay - L.A.'s first improvised musical. Cheri has written librettos for Princesses (music Matthew Wilder, lyrics David Zippel), and Hello! My Baby. Bill is best-selling author of Postcards From the Moon. Both Steinkellners teach writing and acting at the high school, and university level. Married since 1982, they live in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA with their three favorite children: Kit, Teddy, and Emma.
