MICHAEL KOSARIN (Music Supervisor/Incidental Music and Vocal Arranger) Original New York Broadway productions, since 1982: Nine, Grand Hotel, Secret Garden, King David, Mayor, Beauty and the Beast, A Chorus Line, Triumph of Love (and composed two songs), Little Shop of Horrors, Can-Can (Encores!), and Hunchback of Notre Dame in Berlin. Current: Music supervisor/conductor, Disney's The Little Mermaid.
Film as conductor/vocal arranger: Enchanted, Hercules, Pocahontas, Home On The Range, Manchurian Candidate, many others. 2005 Emmy Award, Outstanding Music Direction, NBC's "A Christmas Carol" (and produced music, wrote adapted underscore). Same for ABC-TV's "Once Upon a Mattress" and "The Music Man" (Emmy nomination).
Recording and concert work (producer/arranger/conductor/pianist): Carly Simon (including gold album 'My Romance" and 'Film Noir"), Barbara Cook ('Tribute"), Kerry Butler ('Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust"), Kristin Chenoweth, many others. Conducted many symphony orchestras, including St. Luke's Orchestra, Stravinsky's 'Firebird Suite", live to picture (as animated for 'Fantasia 2000").
