Hit musical comedy Sister Act, produced by Whoopi Goldberg and Stage Entertainment, has smashed the box office record for the highest grossing single musical performance at its home, the London Palladium.  The performance, over the holiday season, took more than £115,000 beating the previous record held by The Sound of Music.  Also over the Christmas break, the 500,000 ticket to the show was purchased.
